Ballantine’s Supports Music Culture
Conscious that artists and the music community, like many others, are facing tough times during the ongoing COVID-19 situation, Ballantine's whisky is working on a number of initiatives to continues its support for music.
This activity is being spearheaded by a six-figure sum that includes 20 x £5,000 grants which will be distributed to community-driven music collectives globally who will be taking part in Boiler Room’s ‘Streaming From Isolation’ series. These grants will be given to these creative collectives to distribute as they feel best within their immediate community to support those most in need over the coming months whilst COVID-19 restrictions are in place.
Weekly takeover days on Boiler Room channels feature performances and content from these collectives, broadcasted to the world from their homes and creative spaces, keeping music fans connected. During the broadcasts there will also be an option to donate to The Global FoodBanking Network, for those who are able to.
