Reach Food Service Joins with Felix Project to Help Fight Food Hunger

Since the pandemic began The Felix Project has seen demand for food triple to 30 tonnes a day among the vulnerable. To help tackle the challenge, Abbas Lalljee, founder and CEO of Reach Food Service, a supplier of premium raw ingredients to the industry, has announced a £210,000 donation to The Felix Project. This will go directly to the charities and schools that The Felix Project supports to be turned into hot and nutritious meals for local communities.

Reach Food Service is also giving The Felix Project a further £1 per home delivery from its new business venture, REACH My Kitchen, which delivers premium seafood, meat and poultry hampers to homes within the M25. In addition, £1 per box will be donated to Hospitality Action.

The company has also donated £250,000 in food stocks to The Caring Foundation to support the organisation’s goal of cooking upwards of 50,000 meals a week in London for the elderly, children, families with no income and NHS workers.
