Top Industry Names Support Invisible Chips Campaign
Hospitality Action (HA) has launched an innovative fundraising campaign in support of the beleaguered industry.
Fronted by Fred Sirieix, Heston Blumenthal and Tom Kerridge, the initiative asks food outlets to add ‘Invisible Chips’ to their menu. Priced the same as their edible counterpart, diners are then encouraged to add a portion or two to their order. All monies raised are donated to the charity.
Pub and restaurant group BrewDog has already signed up, serving Invisible Chips at £3.95 a portion across all of its 52 BrewDog and Draft House venues. Brasserie Blanc along with steak restaurant groups Hawksmoor and Gaucho are also set to add them to their menus in the coming weeks.
Invisible Chips are also available to purchase online, again with all proceeds going to Hospitality Action.
Restaurants, bars or food outlets that want to participate can sign up here.
